A pivoting catch (12) normally present in the locking position is located on the underside (US) of the runner (20) in front of the entrance (3') to the channel (3) in the runner for the fall arrest device rail (FS). The runner has a casing (1) with a U-shaped cross-section having two arms (2) that define a channel for the fall arrest device rail. A pair of rollers (2') is mounted between these arms. A brake catch (4) is urged against the rail and has a harness hook (5) attached to it.
