摘要 <p>A pearl nucleus made of an anisotropic material is distinguished from another pearl nucleus made of a non-anisotropic material by detecting the anisotropy at two intersecting axes of each pearl nucleus. The anisotropy is detected with the use of the rotation of the pearl nucleus due to buoyancy, the magnetic susceptibility of the pearl nucleus, the light transmittance of the pearl nucleus or the light reflectivity of the pearl nucleus. Namely, a method of examining a nuclear material by surely and quickly detecting the anisotropy at two intersecting axes of a spherical nucleus.</p>
