<p>In a transverse flute or similar wind instrument provided with a plurality of keys rotating around at least one shaft (S'), each key being provided with a pipe through which said shaft (S') passes and being kept in a raised position by a return spring (N), the shaft (S') is conventionally mounted on the instrument through a series of aligned pillars (P) provided with holes (H) but it is a simple cylindrical shaft, without a threaded end and a slot for the screwdriver at the other end, and all the holes (H) are simple cylindrical holes, the play in the couplings between the shaft (S') and the holes (H) and between the shaft (S') and the pipes being small enough that the shaft (S') is sufficiently restrained thanks to the shearing stress produces by the return springs (N). In this way several advantages are achieved stemming from the decrease in the working costs of the shaft (S') and of the pillar provided with the threaded hole (H'), from the possibility of making the shaft with a steel that is harder and more wear-and corrosion-resistant, form the elimination of the damage risks linked to the use of the screwdriver and to the presence of the slot, from the greater ease of assembly and disassembly of the instrument, and others more which come out both in use and during the maintenance phase.</p> |
