<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone with an IC tag authentication function provided with a convenient crime prevention function and realizing low power consumption during authentication operation. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile phone comprises an IC tag wireless section performing wireless communication with a wireless IC tag attached to an article carried by a user, and a control section for judging current operation mode (step S201-S202) and when the judgment result is an unauthorized mode, performing authentication of the identification code of the wireless IC tag based on wireless communication with the wireless IC tag at the IC tag wireless section (step S203-206), and when the judgment result is a correct identification code, altering the operation mode to an authorized mode, accepting the operational input only when the current operation mode is the authorized mode and performing the processing depending on the operational input (step S207-S208). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
