<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation system for a liquefied hydrogen capable of fully utilizing energy held by liquefied hydrogen while minimizing the loss of the energy held by the liquefied hydrogen by improving the distant transporting and storage technologies for the liquefied hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: In an thermally insulated pipeline 1 for transporting the liquefied hydrogen, a cooling device 31 cooling the liquefied hydrogen is disposed in the pipeline and the cooling device evaporates a part of the liquefied hydrogen to cool the liquefied hydrogen during transportation. Also, a partition wall 14 is installed in the pipeline and outlet and inlet nozzles 17 and 18 are installed at the front and rear of the partition wall. A pump 26 for pressurizing the liquefied hydrogen connected to the outlet and inlet nozzles is installed, and the cooling device 31 cooling the liquefied hydrogen by partly evaporating the liquefied hydrogen during transportation is installed. A generating device 36 such as a fuel cell receiving hydrogen gas generated by evaporating the liquefied hydrogen from a hydrogen supply source is desirably installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
