<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickup image synthesizer and its synthesizing program for making it possible for a user to easily create and enjoy a montage image whose border line is not made conspicuous from a pickup image on the spot by convenient and simple processing. <P>SOLUTION: This pickup image synthesizer is configured to make an operator match the predetermined sites of the face with photographic indexes displayed at a display unit, and successively photographing by dividing the face into at least two parts, and perform border processing between those respective partial images to create a montage image. In border processing, pixel data adjacent to the border lines of a first image at one side of the border line and a second image at the other side are extracted as first basic pixel data and second basic pixel data (S35). Then, the pixel data of the first and second images are mixed with the second and first basic pixel data corresponding to those pixels based on a mixing rate corresponding to the distance from the preliminarily stored border (S43, S45).
