<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter unit, in which size reduction and weight reduction are realized, by using a coil smaller than the conventional one, as the coil constituting a filter. <P>SOLUTION: A converter CNV, an inverter INV, and the filter for removing a high harmonic wave components from the output of the inverter are stored in an aluminum case 2, having a bottom wall part 2a and sidewall parts 2b-2d. The filter has coils L1, L2 which are respectively wound around linearly extended iron cores I1, I2 and arranged on one end side of the case 2. The end parts of the iron cores, around which the coils are wound, are arranged close to the inner faces of the sidewall parts 2d, 2e of the case 2. Plates 5, 6 made of a ferromagnetic material make the magnetic flux, which enters and exits from the end parts of the iron cores close to the sidewall parts 2d, 2e of the case, orient in a direction along the inner face of the sidewall part of the case; and the plates 5, 6 are respectively arranged, between each end part of each iron core I1, I2 and each sidewall part 2d, 2e of the case. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
