摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine for enlarging an operational region in which PM regeneration can be performed. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for an internal combustion engine, comprises: a particulate filter disposed to an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine; a generator driven by the internal combustion engine to generate electric power; a battery charging the electric power generated by the generator; and a continuously variable transmission for arbitrary shifting driving force of an input shaft to which driving force of the internal combustion engine and driving force of the generator are inputted so as to output the driving force to an output shaft. The battery is set to have a predetermined allowance margin for charge if it is necessary that a filter temperature should be a predetermined temperature or more, and the transmission is set so that the output of the internal combustion engine becomes second output (L2) higher than first output (L1) requiring the predetermined temperature or more of the filter temperature. Therefore, the filter temperature is increased up to the predetermined temperature, and difference (L2-L1) between the first output (L1) and the second output (L2) is charged in the buttery by regenerative control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
