<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock relieving device at the time of stroke end capable of embodying it in a small construction with a simple structure and facilitating installation by installing a resilient piece on a metal washer and mounting it between the both stopper surfaces of a rack and a ball joint. <P>SOLUTION: The shock relieving device applies to a steering device equipped with a tying rod coupled with both the ends of a rack through the ball joint and structured so that the end face on the ball joint side is abutted by the stroke end of the rack to the end face on the rack side to generate stopping, wherein a stroke damper for relieving the shock is furnished with the resilient piece in the abutting part to the rack, being arranged between the stopper surface on the ball joint side and the stopper surface on the rack side, and the resilient piece is arranged split on the stroke damper on the same circumference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
