PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television lens capable of preventing the misoperation of an iris mode changeover switch and also instantaneously changing over an iris mode when the iris mode must be changed over. SOLUTION: A plurality of switch caps are properly used when the iris mode must be changed over and when it need not be changed over, whereby trouble at photographing resulting from the misoperation of the mode changeover SW is prevented.
