PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component measuring device with high measuring accuracy, which can prevent or restrain the clouding of an optically transparent member. SOLUTION: The component measuring device 1 comprises a casing, and a printed board is arranged in the casing, and a light measuring part 4 is provided at the tip of the casing. The light measuring part 4 comprises a holder 43 having a light emitting element 41 and a light receiving element 42 fixed thereto, the optically transparent member 45, and a presser member 47. An O-ring 46 is housed in an annular recessed part 435 of a holder 43, the optically transparent member 45 is housed in a recessed part 434, and fixed by the presser member 47 relative to the holder 43. In a state where a chip 5 is attached to the tip (the presser member 47) of the light measuring part 4 (chip-attached state), the average distance L between a test paper 53 and the optically transmitting member 45 is set to 1.5 mm or more.
