PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial and a timepiece capable of acquiring surface emission having a uniform light quantity over the whole surface of the dial, and having excellent visibility. SOLUTION: This timepiece is equipped with a movement having a pointer shaft, the dial wherein texturing is applied respectively to the front and the back and the pointer shaft of the movement arranged on the back side is arranged penetratingly at the center part, and a plurality of light sources arranged close to the side of the dial.
