PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal joint for piping capable of maintaining easiness of rocking even under high pressure. SOLUTION: This universal joint for piping is provided with an L-shaped member 100 having two straight flow passage parts 110 and 120 bent at 90deg., and two piping connection members 140a and 140b respectively having engagement parts 142a and 142b to be engaged with the respective straight flow passage parts 110 and 120 in such a way as to be able to rock around the axes of the straight flow passage parts 110 and 120, and external piping connection parts 144a and 144b to be connected to external piping 170a and 170b. The straight flow passage parts 110 and 120 of the L-shaped member 100 comprise a communication flow passage forming part 114 having a communication passage to be communicated with flow passages provided in the engagement parts 142a and 142b of the piping connection members 140a and 140b, and two O-ring grooves 116a and 116b of the same diameter provided on both sides of the communication flow passage forming part 114.
