PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a germicidal and antifungal paper having high safety, having germicidal and antifungal force effective to broad kinds of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and yeasts and sustaining the effect. SOLUTION: The germicidal and antifungal paper comprises bamboo pulp obtained by digesting a bamboo material or a cellulosic material containing≥5 wt.%, preferably≥10 wt.% bamboo pulp as a raw material and comprises burnt product of seashell as an germicidal active ingredient.
