PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifying device and a method of autotransfusion for the autotransfusion by reversely rotating a blood pump while reversely filtrating a dialysis solution, capable of preventing the thrombosis attached to a filtrating means of an artery side drip chamber from returning into the body of a patient, improving the workability without requiring the change of connection, and preventing the structure from becoming so complicated that management of circuits is necessary. SOLUTION: The dialysis device can autotransfuse the blood left in an artery side blood circuit 3 including the artery side drip chamber 8 and a vein side blood circuit 4 inside a hollow fiber membrane to the patient by reversely rotating the blood pump 5 and discharging the reversely filtrated dialysis solution from a dialyzer 1. The device also has a four-way valve 10 in the artery side blood circuit 3 to make the blood stream at the time of dialysis treatment in the artery side drip chamber 8 and make the residual blood and dialysis solution stream at the time of autotransfusion in the same direction.
