PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shape retaining implements for preventing deformation for achieving desirable storing of boots in point of appearance by standing and neatly arranging the boots, and for enabling removing of steamed odor and reusing of the boots in a dry and good condition. SOLUTION: The shape retaining implements for preventing deformation are provided with a pair of shape retaining bodies, one of which has a ventilation means, and urged by an elastic means. The shape retaining implement is inserted to a long and narrow cylindrical part of the boot so as to prevent trouble of the cylindrical part such as bending, deforming, generating of wrinkles or the like, so that the boot is stored in a standing condition. Moisture and odor in the boot are quickly and effectively removed by operating the ventilation means. An auxiliary agent can also be used for further improving the effect.
