PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily select the combination of the use or nonuse of a scattered beam removal means and an automatic exposure control detection means while minimizing a distance between an object and a portable radiation image receiving part at all times. SOLUTION: An opening part 1a is provided on one side face of a main body 1 and a cover 3 for opening and closing the opening part 1a is supported by a hinge 4. A grid 5 and a radiation detector 6 are successively arranged from the side of a radiation generator 2 inside the main body 1 and a space 8 capable of storing a radiation digital image receiver 7 is secured behind the radiation detector 6. A guide member for guiding the grid 5 and the radiation detector 6 so as to be slidable in the irradiation direction of radiation is provided inside the main body 1, and in the case of photographing the object S without using the grid 5 and the radiation detector 6, the cover 3 is opened, the space is formed by sliding the grid 5 and the radiation detector 6 in the direction of moving them away from the object S in the space 8, then the digital image receiver 7 is mounted inside the space, the cover 3 is closed, and photographing is performed.
