PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for peeling farm products in which peeling and separation in the length direction can nearly continuously and simultaneously be carried out without causing unpeeling mistake of the skin which is unnecessary for farm products and is not used for foods. SOLUTION: Winding direction and winding angle of the skin Ae are determined by a determination controller 22, based on detected information output from an unnecessary part-detecting device 18, and a peeling unit 28 of a peeling apparatus 25 and a pair of air discharge parts 37 are gradually turned and changed to a peeling angle which nearly coincides with winding direction of the skin Ae, centering a shaft core of Welsh onion A based on the determination while moving the peeling unit 28 and a pair of air discharge parts 37 to longitudinal direction and helical direction along the outer periphery surface of stem part Ab of Welsh onion A and air G discharged from discharge nozzles 37a and 37b installed in the air discharge parts 37 is sprayed to winding part of the skin Ae and the skin Ae of Welsh onion A is nearly continuously and simultaneously peeled and separated.
