The tool is assembled of a shaft (C) with a tip appropriately shaped for the type of screw to be driven at its lower end and a handle (A) accommodating a transmission gear unit. When the handle (A) is rotated the torque is transmitted to the inner teeth acting on two planetary wheels (B) meshing with an outer toothed area (D) arranged around the upper end of the shaft (C). The direction of rotation is reversed, facilitating an easy use by a left-handed individual. The tool can be used for loosening a screw by a right-handed person.
