The invention relates to a module and method for the transmission of messages to a domain name server, and to an architecture comprising said module. According to the invention, the message transmission module comprises: means (20, 26) for receiving messages from the input (21, 6); means for extracting the service field value from the messages received; and means (24, 28) for filtering messages from the input (21, 6) according to (i) the service field value extracted from the messages received and (ii) a service field filter value (DF) present in a filter base (23) associated with the filter means (20, 26), all of the aforementioned means being disposed between the input and the output of at least one determined transmission channel (8, 9).
