<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone which can record a photographing person and a person to be photographed in the same picture. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises a face region detection circuit 45 which detects a face region of the photographing person from image data of the photographing person side which is taken from a 1st camera part 16, a region detecting circuit 46 which detects a region of the person to be photographed and a region in which the person to be photographed is not included from image data of the person side to be photographed which is taken by a 2nd camera part 17, and an image synthesizing circuit 48 which synthesizes a facial region of the photographing person detected by the face region detection circuit 45 in a region which does not include the person to be photographed based on the detecting result of the region detecting circuit 46.
