<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectrode elevating a photoelectric transfer efficiency of a dye sensitized solar cell and its manufacturing method, and the solar cell using it. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode includes a transparent conductive substrate whose at least one surface has conductivity, metal-oxide semiconductor layer which is formed on the conductive surface of the transparent conductive substrate and contains particles of the metal-oxide semiconductor, and the coloring matter absorbed in the metal-oxide semiconductor layer.
