PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and widely available low-cost plate-like broadband antenna capable of being contained in a portable terminal, etc. SOLUTION: The antenna comprises a slot 7 cut in a conductor to form a first and second radiation conductors 1, 2 at both sides of the slot 7 with the second radiation conductor 2 bent along a bending line 8 parallel to the length of the slot 7, and feeders 3, 3 provided in the slot 7 with mutually opposed projecting edges of the first and second radiation conductors 1, 2 forming the slot 7.
