DISPLACEMENT SENSOR AND DISPLACEMENT MEASURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a displacement sensor which can easily identify data used in the process from image acquisition up to displacement calculation. SOLUTION: This is the displacement sensor which automatically extracts coordinates of a measuring point from the image acquired from image pickup device by using prescribed instrumentation algorithm to compute intended displacement from the automatically-extracted coordinates of the measuring point. It contains a display data editing means for editing the data used in the process from image acquisition up to displacement calculation into display data for image monitoring.
