PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorptive capillary column with excellent separating performance. SOLUTION: This capillary column comprises a silicon dioxide layer having a thickness ranging from 0.01 to 30μm, which is formed by applying an organic silicone polymer solution to the inner surface of a lengthy capillary tube, and heating the tube in oxidizing atmosphere to thermally decompose the organic silicone polymer.
