PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allergen-reducing fibrous product capable of exhibiting the allergen-reducing effect while maintaining an original touch feeling of the fibrous product, and also a method for producing the allergen-reducing fibrous product. SOLUTION: This allergen-reducing fibrous material is obtained by treating the part except for its outermost surface with an allergen-reducing agent such as an aromatic hydroxy compound, etc. The method of producing the allergen-reducing fibrous material is provided by penetrating the solution of the allergen-reducing agent from the rear surface of the fibrous product through the parts except for the outermost surface.
