PHOTOREACTION APPARATUS AND PHOTOREACTION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreaction apparatus which can sufficiently enhance the efficiency of a photoreaction even when a pulsed laser with a short pulse period width is used; and to provide a photoreaction control method. SOLUTION: In the photoreaction apparatus 1A, a reaction chamber S is irradiated with pulsed light emitted by a laser light source 10 to cause a photoreaction in a reaction object in the reaction chamber S; and a reaction evaluation unit 20, a control computation device 30, and a light source control device 35 are installed. The reaction evaluation unit 20 measures and evaluates the photoreaction in the reaction object with a reaction measurement device 21. The control computation device 30 determines the condition for controlling the laser light source 10 based on the evaluation result in the photoreaction by the reaction evaluation unit 20. The light source control device 35 controls the relation between phase velocity and group velocity in a resonator of the laser light source 10 to adjust the CEP (carrier envelope phase) of the pulsed light.
