PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a holding device for cleaning which enables stable cleaning by steadily holding a cleaning tool and enables the effective cleaning of a narrow place. SOLUTION: The holding device 1 for cleaning has a holding head 2 and a gripping handle 3. The holding head 2 has an elliptical elastic holding body 2 and a highly rigid supporting body 4, and the gripping handle 3 is coupled with the supporting body 4. The elastic holding body 2 and the supporting body 3 are formed to have a prescribed horizontal to vertical ratio and a prescribed area ratio. Thus, stable wiping is realized with the cleaning supply 20 attached, and a narrow place is cleaned effectively because of the elastic holding body 5 deformed freely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
