A plug valve with push. button control for dispersers of products in liquid or powder form and comprising a propellant liquified under pressure contained in a reservoir 13 accommodated inside a receptacle containing the product, provides three separate paths for the propellant, product and for connecting the receptacle to atmosphere each of which paths is controlled by an obturator, and is characterised in that the product path comprises a tube dipping in the product and passing fluid tightly through the propellant reservoir to a spray nozzle 9, and the push button.is mounted on a hollow sliding stem which passes through two seals 21 and 31, one of which acts as double obturator for the propellant and another path and the second of which acts as obturator for the third path. Preferably the second seal acts as obturator for the product path. The seal acting as double obturator may be a flexible gasket engaged at rest in an annular constriction in the stem communicating with that part of the propellant path outside the reservoir. The path of the active product may comprise a duct 45 in the stem which communicates with a lateral orifice 46 which is in sliding engagement with an annular seal 31 in the fixed part of the product path.</p> |
