Provided is a mat anionic electro-deposition coating composition having excellent storage stability, finishing property in coating and dies mark hiding property. The mat anionic electro-deposition coating composition comprises an emulsion which is produced by performing a first step of radically co-polymerizing a hydroxyl group-containing unsaturated monomer(a), a carboxyl group-containing unsaturated monomer(b) and other radical polymerizable unsaturated monomer(c) to obtain a water-dispersible vinyl copolymeric resin(A), and a second step of mixing the water-dispersible vinyl copolymeric resin(A) with an epoxy compound(d) having at least one of an epoxy group and a hydroxy silane group in one molecule by heat to obtain an aqueous resin(I), and sequently mixing the aqueous resin(I), a cross-linking agent(II) and a basic compound, followed by dispersing in water. |
