PACKING STRUCTURE FOR LITHIUM ION POLYMER BATTERY

A pack structure for a lithium ion polymer battery is provided to protect the battery from an external impact and an over-charge/over-discharge while increasing the overall battery size to a minimum. The pack structure comprises a battery case(11) including a lower multi-layered polymer(9) which has an inside space(9a) of a predetermined size for accommodating an electrode assembly and an electrolyte, and an extended portion(9b) stretched outward circumferentially along an upper edge of the internal space(9a), and an upper multi-layered polymer(10), one part of which is rotatively connected with a part of the extended portion(9b) and other part of which is oppositely sealed to a corresponding part of the extended portion(9b); and a battery protecting member(13) which surrounds the battery case(11) to protect a battery in the battery case(11) from an external impact and is integrally anchored by a part of the sealed extended portion(9b).
