<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in the extrusion of a thermoplastic elastomer composition, it is difficult to expand the composition by gas or supercritical fluid, and it is more difficult to obtain a foamed, extruded article having homogeneous cells. <P>SOLUTION: A material reforming means limits an expansion ratio below 2 and can expands the thermoplastic elastomer. A foamed, extruded article of the thermoplastic elastomer is obtained by a process in which a material added with 0.5-100 pts. wt., preferably 5-10 pts. wt., of an inorganic filler as a nucleating agent per 100 pts, wt. of the thermoplastic elastomer is expanded by extrusion foaming using the gas or the supercritical fluid as a foaming medium while the expansion ratio is limited below 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
