<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus, an image output system, an image display method, a computer program for executing the method, and an information recording medium with the computer program recorded thereon which enable a display means to express a characteristic even when color information of a characteristic color of a color proof cannot be acquired. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 31 executes a display color setting means 301 to set and register in advance color information of a prescribed display color displayed on a monitor 4, executes a color information detection means 302 to detect the color information of a characteristic color included in the color proof, executes a color information setting means 303 to set color information of a display color set and registered for the color information of the characteristic color when no color information cannot be detected, and executes a display control means 304 for displaying the characteristic color on the monitor 4 on the basis of the set color information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
