<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a nano honeycomb catalyst with a large surface area highly dispersed with a catalyst component. <P>SOLUTION: In the nano honeycomb catalyst, an inner wall of nano honeycomb is covered with a noble metal particle, a base metal particle and a carrier component. An insolubilizing agent for the noble metal ion is added to a reverse micellar solution (A) containing an aqueous noble metal ion solution, and then a reverse micellar solution (B) containing an aqueous base metal ion solution is mixed with the solution and further an insolubilizing agent for the base metal ion is added thereto. The obtained solution is filled in the honeycomb and a reverse micellar solution (C) containing a carrier component alkoxide solution or a hydrolyte of a carrier component alkoxide is added to the nano honeycomb. According to the step, the noble metal of fine particle and the base metal can be highly dispersed and a thin layer can have the carrier component such as alumina carried thereon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
