<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance-free apparatus capable of removing odor components, for solving the problems that a conventional air purifier using a photocatalyst can not remove the odor components and can remove the odor components by using active carbon, which requires maintenance or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In this apparatus, the photocatalyst 5 whose main component is pulverized tourmaline is fixed to the surface of a prescribed part in an air flow path and a photocatalyst exciting light source 6 is provided facing the part where the photocatalyst 5 is fixed. Further, on the back surface or upstream side of the part where the photocatalyst 5 is fixed, a heating means 22 and a dehumidifying means 7 are provided.
