METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SCHEDULING ALLOCATION FOR TRANSMISSION OF UPLINK PACKET IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting and receiving buffer status of a buffer storing packet data to be transmitted by a user terminal and channel status representing uplink transmission power, for uplink packet data service in a mobile communication system supporting the uplink packet data service.

SOLUTION: A user terminal initially transmits the buffer status and the channel status if the amount of packet data in the buffer is at least equal to a predetermined threshold. Upon generation of new packet data in the buffer, or according to a predetermined buffer status interval, the user terminal transmits the buffer status. The user terminal transmits the channel status according to a separate channel status transmission interval, or together with the buffer status.
