<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved friction material having reliability and superior characteristics compared with those of prior art and, specifically, to provide a friction material provided with "anti-shudder" property, "hot spot" resistance, high heat resistance, high friction stability, durability, porosity rate, strength, and elasticity. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a friction material comprising a primary material layer and at least a partial coating with friction modifying particles in the form symmetric to at least one surface of the primary layer, which are used as anti-shudder friction materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
