PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scooter type motorcycle capable of enhancing the cooling efficiency by ensuring the opening area of an intake passage. SOLUTION: In the scooter type motorcycle which supports a unit-swing type power unit 3 by a body frame 4 in a rocking manner and has an intake duct 400 to introduce cooling air into a transmission chamber of the unit-swing type power unit 3, an introduction opening part 320a to introduce cooling air is formed in the front side of the transmission chamber 320, and the intake duct 400 is supported by the body frame 4. The intake duct 400 has a connection opening part 400b to cover the introduction opening part 320a in a rocking manner, and an outside air intake opening part 400c to be opened inward of the body.
