PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a very thin and small-sized magnetoelectric transducing element of a longitudinal mount type. SOLUTION: This magnetoelectric transducing element is provided with a lead frame 2 which has a connection surface as a terminal for electric connection with the outside, a pellet 4 which is mounted on the lead frame 2 and has a magnetic sensitive part and an internal electrode, a metal thin wire 5 which connects the lead frame 2 and internal electrode, and resin 1 which partially seals the pellet 4, metal wire 5, and lead frame 2, a Hall element is in a nearly rectangular parallelepiped shape on the whole, and the connection surface of the lead frame 2 is arranged while exposed in contact with one side of one surface of the rectangular parallelepiped side by side to constitute a lead frame part 2a for bottom connection.
