PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of supporting an optical pickup capable of absorbing and suppressing the shift of a pressing position occurring when the tilting of a yoke base is adjusted with adjustment screws or when vibration or shocks is applied while the yoke base is pressed with a pressing spring, in an optical tilting adjusting and supporting structure for adjusting the optical tilting of the optical pickup with respect to an optical storage medium. SOLUTION: A pressing spring is provided with a locking means for suppressing the positional shift occurring when a yoke base is pressed. Thus, the shift in the pressing position of the pressing spring is suppressed and locked in the state the yoke base is pressed and held on an optical base. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
