PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device whose joining part in an image display surface is inconspicuous even when a large image display surface is formed by joining side end faces of a plurality of substrates, and also to provide an electronic apparatus provided with the electrooptical device, and a method for manufacturing the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: In the electrooptical device 1, a mold material 2 is filled in a cross section V-shaped groove 4 formed on the rear face side of the joining part 6 of two panels 3A and 3B. The panels 3A and 3B are, while keeping the state of being joined, elastically deformed into a curved shape bulging to the rear face side, and the rear face side is supported by a concave curve 70 of a supporting body with a spacer 71.
