PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color matching device which can calculate or indicate the suitable mixing ratio of a transparent coating component and each base color material, and to provide its program, on an un-concealing painting. SOLUTION: The color matching device 100 of the un-concealing painting consisting of the transparent coating component and one or a plurality of the base color materials comprises a sample painting data base 11, a standard painting data base 12a or the like which is stored separately the plurality of the standard painting data groups, a sample color data acquisition means for obtaining the sample color data, a sample selection means which selects an approximate color sample painting data of the most approximate color to the sample color data, a standard data selection means for selecting the group of the standard painting data relating to a standard total mixing ratio adapted to the approximate color sample painting data, an optical density calculation means which calculates the optical density on each base color material and a mixing ratio calculation means which calculates a recommended mixing ratio of the painting which is applied on a substrate using the optical density of the sample color data and each base color material.
