PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft rod for a loom which can be produced by an economical production process with high process reliability. SOLUTION: The shaft rod has a profile body (15) and the profile body has a long housing space (24) for an additional profile body (19) and the additional profile body is bonded to the profile body (15) through an adhesive seam (33) and the rod is provided with a detent means (25) which works between the profile body (15) and the additional profile body (19) and the detent means, with which the additional profile body (19) is fixed to the profile body (15) in its desired position as long as the adhesive seam (33) has not yet hardened.
