PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic generator, and an instrument and a method for measuring three-dimensional motion capable of measuring six-degree-of-freedom of motion for an object. SOLUTION: Magnetic markers 16a-16d such as a permanent magnet are fixed on an upper face of a fixing member 13 with a distance d by an adhesive or the like, so as to constitute a magnetic generator 15 (15a, 15b). Then, a side face of the fixing member 13 is attached to a prescribed position of a measured person by the adhesive or the like. Since the distance d is fixed by fixing member 3, a relative motion (the six-degree-of-freedom of motion) between the upper jaw and the lower jaw of the measured person is measured by detecting magnetic fields of the magnetic markers 16a-16d by a magnetic sensor.
