PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler for enabling even a rider to enjoy a pure heavy low sound unmixed with a chattering sound. SOLUTION: The mufflers 4A and 4B are arranged in the tail end part of exhaust passages 5A and 5B of a motorcycle, and have a shape of a double tube for covering its periphery with an outer tube to an inner tube for allowing exhaust gas to exist inside, and exhausting the exhaust gas outward from the tail end. The outer tube 4c is extended further backward more than the rear end of the inner tube 4b. The tail end part of this extended outer tube 4c is obliquely cut so that a cut surface 4a turns substantially outward to the motorcycle 50 in the longitudinal direction of the outer tube 4c.
