PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple lid caulking/fixing apparatus for a cup-like vessel, which caulks and fixes a skirt of a lid of the cup-like vessel on a flange of a vessel opening. SOLUTION: The lid caulking/fixing apparatus comprises a slide shaft 5 supported on a base stand 4 to be able to move up and down, a lid holding member 6 arranged on the slide shaft 5 to hold the lid 2, a positioning mechanism 7 which regulates the descent position of the lid holding member 6, a pressure plate 8 fitted into the slide shaft 5 slidably, a compression spring 9 interposed between the pressure plate 8 and the lid holding member 6, an operating lever 10 which moves up and down the pressure plate 8, a plurality of link mechanisms 11 which are actuated by the relative transfer of the pressure plate 8 to the lid holding member 6, and a plurality of nail members 12 which are formed on the link mechanisms 11, and folds in the skirt 21 of the lid 2 on the tip of the flange F toward a container body 1 and further folds in the folded skirt 21 toward the inside of the flange F.
