PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing method using a composite brazing material which brings superior high temperature oxidation resistance in a brazed zone. SOLUTION: The brazing method using a composite brazing material 10 is performed in the following manner: the composite material 10 having a brazing layer 12 of a multilayer structure composed of at least two kinds of Ti-containing metallic layers 13a, 13b, 14 on the surface of the base material 11 is superposed on a member to be brazed, the brazing layer 12 is then melted to form a brazing molten part 22, the brazing molten part 22 is solidified to form a brazing alloy part 32, thereafter, the brazing alloy part 32 is heat-treated under an oxidized atmosphere, thereby forming its surface into a Ti oxide layer 43 having a thickness of 0.10-5.0% of the layer thickness of the brazing alloy part 32.
