The invention relates to a strip (1) which is used to connect an airbag, particularly a curtain airbag, to the structure (14) of a vehicle through a hole (16) provided in said structure. According to the invention, one zone (3) of the strip, comprising several coiled layers (1', 1'', 1'''), is inserted into the above-mentioned hole (16). Said zone (3) comprises at least one hole (4, 17) through which the end (6) of the strip (1) is passed in order to be fixed to the airbag, such that the coiled zone (3) is divided into two parts (10, 12) in the form of a lasso. In this way, once the aforementioned lasso has been inserted into the hole (16) in the structure (14) of the vehicle, it cannot be released therefrom when the strip (1) is pulled upon activation of the airbag in the event of a collision.
