<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment for preventing an operator(even an operator who has difficulty in hearing and viewing) from performing the power OFF operation of an HDD access by mistake or without noticing it at all. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic equipment loaded with a hard disk 1, and mounted with a main switch 4 for forcedly disconnecting power supply is provided with an oscillator 3 incorporated in the main switch 4, a main switch cover 6 for opening/closing the main switch 4, an opening/closing detecting sensor 5 for detecting the opening/closing of the main switch cover 6 and a system controller 7 for outputting an oscillation ON signal to drive the oscillator 3 by detecting that the main switch cover 6 has been opened according to the opening/closing detection signal(opening detection signal) from the opening/closing sensor 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
