PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily change the distribution ratio for a torque distributed from the output elements of a center differential to front and rear wheels from a reference torque distribution ratio for the center differential. SOLUTION: In this torque distribution device 1, the center differential 10 comprises a first sun gear 11, a second sun gear 12, and first and second pinions 13 and 14. The first sun gear 11 is used as one input element to which a power is inputted from the drive source of a vehicle, the second sun gear 12 is used as a first output element, a carrier 15 supporting the first and second pinions 13 and 14 is used as a second output element to set the reference torque distribution ratio for the front and rear wheels. A motor torque adding mechanism 20 is installed between the first and second output elements of the center differential 10, and by adding an electric motor torque, the distribution ratio for the torque distributed from the output elements of the center differential 10 to the front and rear wheels can be changed.
